Had a great weekend of fishing, caught over 75 trout, 15 flounder, and lord knows how many reds, with the biggest being 37 inches! All on anything with a yellow tail and of course the almighty trout trick! All in the IOP area, Charleston SC area is truely the hottest spot for inshore fishing on the East Coast! Hands Down! This coming from a man who was raised fishing the inshore of North Carolina!!
Man, I should have followed you around. I was down with my son on Sunday around Sullivan’s and Hamlin Creek and got skunked. I obviously was not doing something right. Thank goodness we took home some oysters or we would have gone home empty-handed.
Lol, it happens sometimes, cant wait for it to cool down a little and the reds and trout get bunched up close! Man im ready to come back down tomorrow! lol
Sounds like an awesome trip! Sorry to ask, but can you be more specific on your yellow tail baits? Rooster tails, plugs, spinner baits, jigs? Im coming down the 16th-25th, trying to turn my luck around! Thanx

Agreed…Sunday/Monday skunked! Monday in Hamlin Creek, Hamlin Sound, not a single bite using mud minnow under popping cork, and cut mullet on bottom. Luck must be run out!
