big ol tides and a helluva cool bar…The Live Wire Music Hall…the old Cagney’s by the river.
Tubby’s (I believe that is the name) was a really cool place. Live music, right on the river, open deck on the second level… Tuna bites as an appetiser was AWESOME…

If you don’t mind spending a few bucks, the Old Pink House is great for a nice meal.
The Pirates House has pretty good food. A little touristy, but good food in a very old, historic building.
Paula Deens is overrated for the hoops you have to jump through just to get a reservation. Good buffet, but a little overpriced, and you pretty much have to get in line around 0830 to get a lunch reservation.
River Street is chock full of places to go to, and I’ve eaten appetizers/barfood at most of them. The food was fine at all of them. The only thing, is if you want booze with lunch, they can’t serve until noon (exactly) if I remember correctly.
There was a nice bar/restaurant a couple streets over from River Street…I believe it was called Avida, or Avita, something like that. Very classy place.
