Yes sir…I could get them for 32.99 each…but…you get the cheap, Chinese bearings in those. I seriously thought about it and decided I wanted to go with a higher quality bearing and grease seal.

I’ll have to admit…I have been very slack where this is concerned. I purchased this boat in 2011 and I haven’t done anything to the wheel bearings until now. I always check the hubs to see if they are getting hot, every time I pull the trailer. I put new tires on it last week and while the tires were off, I spun one of the hubs and it was a little noisy so I decided to just rebuild both sides. I also got some bearing buddies for the hubs. I was lucky I didn’t have any major issues with them…Now that they are new again…I’ll keep the maintenance up…especially the seals.

I ordered it from Amazon when I ordered the bearings and seals. It had good reviews so I decided to give it a try.

I’m all set. New tires, grease seals, bearings and races, and new stainless bearing buddies. I had a time getting one of the inside races out, but other than that, the job went pretty smoothly. Not bad for my first time rebuilding trailer hubs.
