Weekend long rod

It’s probably on Saturday and most definitely on Sunday. Stupid surprise birthday party on Saturday may hurt my prospects, but I’ll make up for it Sunday. Don’t people check the tide charts before making plans? Good luck to all slingin in the grass this weekend. spot, cast, catch, pic, release - repeat

I went tonight with no luck. I saw a bunch but they would not tail long enough to get on them. I had one good shot and he did not eat.
Tomorrow looks horrible.

I saw 30-40 tailers scouting yesterday afternoon. I didnt think the area would flood untill the 6.2 today, man was I wrong and to make it even worse I forgot my flyrods. My buddy just laughed at my fustration each time we had another tailer appear. Its nice to be in the grass again none the less. Its gonna be tough to sit at home this afternoon. hopefully the gusty stuff moves through soon:imp:

Last year they did not get heated up until Memorial weekend. I saw some fish last year around the middle of May but I did not get them to eat real well until Memorial weekend.
