While camping this weekend I fished both Sat afternoon/evening and Sunday morning. Managed about 5 Sat and 5 Sunday, ranging from 16-20 inches. Fished all over mid-lower lake and couldnt seem to find any fish with size to them. Had fish on both free lines and downrods. Anyone want to share some tips on catching some bigger fish?

dollar bill sized Gizzard shad will produce bigger fish…

I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…

That is just the way murray is right now. The rate seems to be around 8 to 10 shorts per keeper. If you are catching real small ones move on to another spot. But I have been getting 22" fish mixed with the 16 to 20" ones.
