We took another trip out to Price Inlet on Saturday. We fished two sets of the racks with live finger mullet and caught a decent number of fish. The majority of the fish were on the smaller side but we did get two solid keepers. We threw back a lot of smaller slot sized reds to catch another day. I don’t really see a point in keeping a 15 or 16 incher in the first place. After the tide stalled out we started to cover ground with artificials at least until it switched. We ended up finding a nice creek loaded with oyster bars and a bunch of little ditches branching off. We ended up pulling an undersized inshore slam out of that creek using z-man and gulp swimbaits.
On Sunday my brother took our parents out on the cooper river looking for a mix of catfish and reds. They fished multiple different spots just of the main channel in the main river with frozen shrimp. They were able to get the mixed bag they were looking for as well as a big ole 36 inch redfish. For our mom’s first two redfish I would say she has started off well with a 26in and a 36in. I wasn’t actually there but from what I hear she was struggling and trying to hand the rod off cause she thought she had a stingray. She sure was glad when that big boy finally got to the boat. You cant tell her nothin about fishing anymore. All in all, it was a great weekend of fall fishing

Sadly no one was recording on Sunday since it was just a fun family trip
