My family and I are going to be in the Weeki Wachie area of Florida next week. We’ll be doing some kayaking/canoeing and want to try doing some fishing. Has anyone ever been in that area and if so, do you have any tips, suggestions, etc…? Also, any local restaurants we should check out? Not taking the boat (couldn’t get a loan for gas) so all fishing would have to be off piers, shore, canoe or kayaks.
