Well its about time

I finally found the time to take care of the fly swap. I will be mailing out the packages today. Thanks to those that participated and to the people that sent in their postage. Thanks to whomever sent the check for $5, it went to buy bubble envelopes to protect the flies in the mail, some of the envelopes I recieved were pretty beat up.

Them are some purty place mats you got there…

I don’t lie about the fish I catch… I just remember them bigger…

Glad to know the $5 was useful!

Looking forward to receiving the flies!

We only had 11 actually participate, there was more interest but people said they wanted in but didn’t contribute. Guess who got the extra flies?

This may have been the longest running fly swap ever.Should we start another for 2008.Cant wait to finally get the flies.

Sorry for the delay. My flies were tied before XMAS, I have had what I ended up sending out for several weeks now but with moving into a new house and spring break biz picking up there just wasnt any time to spare. In hindsight it only took about an hour this morning to lay everything out and seperate it. You go ahead and start the next swap, just don't believe Mad Mike(who works at a flyshop) when he says he wants to participate

Thanks Fritz for putting it together.

If a man wakes up early to go fishing he 's sleep deprived, If a man wakes up late to go fishing he’s fish deprived

Just got the flies…Who tied what?
Mine was the gray crab.

I tied the brown shrimp fly with the bead chain eyes tied mid shank.

Fritz if i contribute is there anyway i can get ahold of the flies that were tied. I would really appreciate it but if its not possible i understand I am new to the whole fly thing so I really wasnt that intersted till recently. Thanks

This swap is over. The 2008 flyswap should be getting started any day now.. I think Mad Mike is in charge of it.

Got mine yesterday, and they look great.
Thanks

I tied the ice chenile head olive bugger thing. The others look good and I especially like the light colored barred craft fur streamer.
These things can be great tying tools if everyone could get it done on time (myself included). It should be tried again.
For anyone who makes it to florida to fish Tarpon I would love to do a tarpon swap as I’ve got some great flies I tie for them.
Hunter

i would love to take part in the next fly swap how do i get in it?

I tied the craft fur shrimp, havent seen mine yet either but should be in the next day or so

Post office lady didnt tell me that the postage on some of the envelopes couldn’t be taped over. I have gotten 2 packages back in the mail and have resent them with stamps not covered up. Sorry for the delay. I would think the woman at the post office would have said something to me but she did not. .52 to mail the things and most had way more paostage than neccessary but since it was taped on someone else along the way kicked them back to me

Well Im moving out of state Monday. Either catch some fish on my flies for me, or I can send you my new address. Actually, I could probably use the flies as I’ll be guiding in FL this summer. Sent you PM Fritz.

Are you not doing a change of address with the post office? Even if they don’t get to you before you move they can be forwarded
