Well that's a wrap

Between the storms and work did not manage to make the trip this year. Seen a few good post a few bad post. Just kind of wondering how everyone would rate their season 1-10. Never done it before. But think I’m going to give deep holing a shot

The wife and I enjoy a week camping in Charleston during the baiting season each year. We did not kill them this year, but we did do better than last season. My mission is to have fun, drink beer, and whatever we catch is a bonus to a great week on the coast. I hope all here have a great rest of the year and an even better 2019.

Meeting a fellow CharlestonFishing follower, 67Nova, in person made this year even more memorable.

Good catches to all

I mainly do bulls bay or cowpen. I only struggled to find them one night but i was only poking one pole looking for bait to use the following day. Out of the 6 trips i had 1 half cooler and the rest were considered a limit with what i also had in bait tank. Id have to say a solid 8 on rating. But hey hit me up before you make the long haul and we can buddy boat out if nothing else.

On the scale of 1 to 10, I would say about a 5 for the first 2 weeks. An 8 for the next 4 weeks and a 2 for the last two weeks. Usually we always do the best at the end of the season, but not this year.

Whiskey,Captain Catfish & Baiter rated this season maybe a 5 could have been better without the storms. We think DNR should add a few days to the season when we have storms like we did. We where still catching them on the last night.May everyone have a good year & return to catch’em again next year. May GOD bless ya.& GO TIGERS.

I would rate it a solid 7. I definitely did better this year than last year ( first time ). With work and the storms it really thru off the plans but thats okay. Looking forward to next year and getting out a little earlier and deep holing. Glad to have met You Mr. soggybottom and glad to know folks like gotitbad are willing to help others. Gotitbad, I was going to got that Saturday but I had family in from Ohio and it just didn’t workout heading down that day, but hopefully next year we can meet in person and get on some Skrimps.
