Headed down week of 4th but will be in Bro in Laws boat, drives me crazy but anyway, just curious if any activity in the shipping channel yet

His boat is only 18’ so not sure I will even venture past the rocks but if it is calm enough would love to put him on a king

I will be back down late July thru first week of August, IN MY BOAT, so hopefully they will be close in by then

The elusive king mackerel… should be in the channel and the end of the rocks by July I hope. Anybody caught any yet?

Hey Ryan, we got into them in about 130’ – landed two while trolling and lost a big smoker at the boat, then caught another while jigging a little shallower. Not sure when they will come up closer, though.
