I am about to move cloase to the park in September. Has anyone done any fishing in and around the park? If so, any tips and trick you could provide me would be great!

I know of some people that have pulled some big reds and flounder out of there. Nothing special on technique. Live or cut mullet fished against the vegetation (bullrush) and areas were there is current like the culvert into Church Creek.

Fun spot to fish from land, a lot of good spots and area to cover, and you catch fresh and saltwater fish. Throw trout baits by the bridge to the island toward the bigger side of water down woods line and you catch it all but small fish mostly. I’ve heard stories of large fish from some long time fishers of that are but they said the big fish are getting less common.
