i know it’s not a local business… but saw west marine’s “further out in west ashley” store near 526 is closing.
i’m pretty sure that i can recall the sign on the front door: until sept 5, they advertise that all orange- and blue-marked items are 75% off.
That figures. Store closes, everything marked down big time, and I sold my boat months ago. Just figures:roll_eyes:
If the 526 store closes I wonder if the other store will do the Marine Flea Markets twice a year? I always enjoyed those.

I went there today on my lunch break today to check this out. Hopin to hook up on something. All they have is pure CRAP. The stuff marked down must have been at the back of the store for ages. Old random parts from the early 90s. Ain’t no wonder it’s 75% off! Don’t waste your time unless you want a returned oil filter from 1988!
I saw a good deal on a cup holder and some battery cables but who wants to mount something on there boat that is 20 years old?
