Anyone been up there recently? How are the water levels? Thinking of taking a middle of summer trip to some blue lines outside (above) the pisgah area just for the heck of it- not sure if some of those streams are dried up…

We still have water in the blue line streams but the water temp is going up. If you’re coming up, make sure it sooner than later. Trout will start to get sluggish soon and the fishing will drop off quickly. Obviously, the higher you go the better chances you have.
People are still catching sizable trout in the larger rivers (Davidson, SoHo, Nantahala).
