…but steady action this morning.
neighbor & I hit water at 7. chunked spooks till about 9 today.
2 spottails. 1 upper slot. 1 over. 4 trout 16-18.275". 2-4’ deep. clear water. plenty of blow ups - swing & a miss
change to plastics. more trout and a few more bass. mostly < 4’ deep.
if you’re not getting hits-MOVE. they’re readily hitting artificials.
no pix, we were in ‘his’ spots.
trout seemed keyed on longer points. falling tide. bass were bi-catch
Good report, Short and simple with lots of helpful info. How was the wind out there?
fish nude so u can show off ur pole…
Sounds like I should have went out. Woke up early, saw the wind, felt it was colder than expected, and went back to sleep. Nice job! What river where you on?
We’re stuck between Barack and a hard place. Hide their food stamps under their working boots.

62 deg at launch, 50 at takeout. 12knt winds. we weren’t dressed appropriately. they were biting good when the whining overtook the bite.
the hardest part was getting boat position to fish where you could feel your line, i.e. direct downwind or upwind casts.
if the wind lays a little there will be many trout caught this weekend. I’m not good enough to catch em with 8’ of belly in the line
