Wetter The Better 6/14

Great day in the water with my buddy Jim K.
Left the dock at 6:30 and headed out to the Edisto Banks, ran out about 26 mph, water temp around 81.5. Small weed line around the 200 mark, caught one phin on the troll on a red/black skirted ballyhoo. Had a barracuda crush the short center rapala xrap, hooked another on a pink/white skirt. Bite went off for awhile went out to about 350 mark, decided to troll back in to our start point, NE point , center short goes off again big bull crushed a blue/white skirted ballyhoo, 25 minutes later over the rail and 40 lbs.
Lines back out hook another 17 lbs bull on a red and black. 5 minutes later the long line screams out and another big bull on, 20 minutes later and forgot to put the end cap on the rod, cross hatches on my thigh and abdoman , 25 lbs in the boat kicking around…
All in all a great day, boat performed really well and still amazed at how dry she runs.

Well done right there! Not strong numbers but all very good fish. Glad you had a good day. I bet that 23 scoots pretty well with those motors.
