Whaler in classifieds

My Dad restored a 1968 whaler, check it out

BOSTON WHALER 13’ -

Thats my exact setup. Its great with a tiller. My 25HP 4 stroke pushes it at 30 mph with just me in it. Its the perfect inshore boat for Charleston, IMO. Someone needs to snap this up, pronto! Tell your Dad he did a fine job on the resto.

Floats in about 7" of water. Light enough if you get stuck you throw the bow line across your shoulder and drag it through. Do it “Old Skool”

Thanks, I’ll tell him. This is about the tenth one he has done. He is a perfectionist so I can say for sure he didn’t overlook any detail.
He can meet anyone as well so don’t let the distance stop you.

I owned one of these before (well, technically my dad did, I was a naive teenager)…and wish I could afford one now. These are GREAT boats.

Saying “I am offended” is telling everyone else that you cannot control your own emotions, and thus you need everyone else to do it for you.

I bought a 13ft. Whaler with a Johnson 40 hp. motor, with trailer, brand new in 1975 for $2000 from a dealer that had gone bankrupt. It was the first boat that I owned although I had lots of time on the water with my Dad’s boats. I sold that Whaler after owning it for 22 years for $2000 bucks. All things considered, I put more shrimp and fish and enjoyment in that boat than any other I have owned.

Man, that looks nice. I think I want to buy it but there is no way I can up there this weekend or next. Think he would hold it with a deposit? (I’ll call tomorrow…seems a bit late tonight.)

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

I talked to your dad this morning. Sending him a deposit on Monday. Will go pick up the boat in a couple of weeks. Psyched. Have been talking about buying a boat for years…finally going to pull the trigger. I think this little boat will serve me well.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

that’s a killer deal. wish I wasn’t tapped out on funds right now

good purchase!
