My gosh was it hot last Tuesday! I’ve been complaining all spring and summer about the wind. It’s been more important the last eight months than the tide it seems when planning an outing.
I also fished last Thursday and it was like a fall “cool” day. Overcast with a perfect breeze. I managed the slam on the Wando doing part two of “The Treasure Map” with Adam and Glenn.
Conditions were tough with the front that came in on Wednesday. Plus, all the rain we got had the water stained.
Now, when I say I managed the slam, I caught three fish all day. All three - the trout, redfish and flounder were about as small as you can catch on a three inch soft plastic.

As for Tuesday…… two keepers all day fishing with a roofing salesman that sold me my roof system about two years ago and we just got together this week to make it happen.
We tore up the puppy drum on 3” zman swim baits. We probably caught close to forty fish. One of which was a trout. One a croaker and a 19 “ flounder. everything else was small reds and small flounder. But, it’s got me excited for the fall fishing!
Video is above fir those interested.
Lastly, I am adding a “Braggin’ Board” to the end of my videos. I’ve got quite a few people who send me texts with what they’ve caught or what their kids/grandkids have caught.
If anyone wants to share a pic just put it in a text to me with a brief explanation of who is in the pic and I’ll gladly add it to the “Braggin’ Board” at the end of my videos.
