What about a "Near Shore Report Form"?

There are lots of folks here like me that have a smaller boat but are willing to venture near shore weather dependent. A new form with near shore postings would be great. How far is near shore? I’m not sure, 15 miles out? Whats your opinion! Its great to here about the big fish way offshore but I cant get there in my boat…

Outside the jetties is offshore.

Inside the jetties or fishing the jetties is inshore.

You should call your boat…
The wet taint
Or
The salty taint

And then when you leave your boat in the water for too long, someone can say you need to clean your crap off your taint.

Thank you, old wise one.

But… um… you can explain this to us ignorant newcomers (fishing Charleston for 60+ years) how?

because it sounds funny…
