What tactics do you employ to help “hide” your swivel at the end of a wind-on leader? Thanks.

10-12 feet of leader, or whatever tournament rules dictate.
In the past during billfish tournies we did not use a swivel at all. We rigged each lure on its own wind-on, and then just simply do a double loop-to-loop connection. Yes it takes longer to change lures, but it was more stealthy, at least it worked very well for us. Standard ballyhoo rigs I still use a swivel, but big lures like some of the Barts and all we had every lure rigged on its own wind-on. Only downfall was if you had a lure that did not run completely true (spinning), then you could end up with line twist. Feel free to swing by anytime if I can ever help you with any of it, I am certainly not the gospel to it, but have been fortunate to have done it a lot. Hope this helps

What size swivel are you using?
Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!
150 lb. Spro. Currently I slide a crimp protector over the swivel. Works fine, just wanted to see what else works.
i have taken the little green and yellow boone squids to cover my swivels i think they come in a pack of six
