Any rough estimates? Really don’t like the look of vinyl.
Or the average cost to hardiplank a 2100 sf one story house.
Don’t know about hardiplank. But have you considered insulated textured vinyl siding. In the 7in size it looks a lot like hardiplank and from what I was told, is a lot cheaper. We got it installed on our new home, ClimaForce siding, 1800 sq ft, single story, for $4,600.
About $4/sf of wall space. $100/door or window. $12/lf for band board. Porch beams, $18/lf. Soffit/fascia, $18/lf.
Rough estimate and each house is different but this should get you in the ballpark.

Make sure you add in the cost to caulk everything up and paint.
