If i stay out of it, which I have a hard time doing :smiley:, and cruise economically at about 36-4200 rpms and around 32-38 mph I average 2.5-3… If i run WTFO like i do most of the time i dont get gas mileage anymore, i get wind blown hair, smiles, and gas feetage :sunglasses:… But what the hell, its only 2.79 a gal… :imp:

ive guessed around 1.5-1.7 average but my motor is older 1993 175hp Johnson oceanrunner wish i could get better without re-powering though.

Evinrude 175 V-6 gets 2.25 - that’s with a lot of start/stops.

I had the same boat and he is pretty right on. Best I ever got was 1.8 which was on a dead calm day. Boat is very heavy as you know and she likes trim tabs. This is why, in my opinion, that the Reg doesn’t do better with 4 strokes.
