What fuel mileage does your boat get?

I’m just curious. I’d like to know manufacturer, 2 0r 4 stroke, single or twin and boat size. I base mine on total GPS trip miles. Then I fill up at the pump, divide trip miles by gallons used. My boat is a 24’ Cape Horn with twin 150 optimax’s. It gets 2.3 mpg.

Cape Horn 24OS
twin 150 Optimax

Around 2.5 mpg
21’ Wellcraft V21 w/ single 150 Yamaha carbed 2 stroke

1.3 to 1.5 mpg-loaded down for fishing
26’ Regulator w/ Yam F225s

1.0 to 1.3 with the old 250OX66s 1.3 to 1.55 with the F250s - 31 contender.

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

1.3 to 1.5 ox66 250’s 26 Regulator. Luckyduck, I would have thought that with F225’s you would be in the 2’s. Thought of re-powering with 4 strokes, but don’t sound like its worth it. The only offset is about 3 gallons of oil per trip.

LET THE HAIR GO WITH THE HIDE!

I’m liking my 150 opti’s more and more. I ran 168 miles friday and only used 72 gallons.

I don’t think mine uses any gas. I fill it up at the beginning of the year and dump it all out at the end of the year.

Oh wait, maybe it’s because I never use it.
