When I fish the kayak, most of the time I am just throwing grubs and not using live bait. What grubs and colors are you guys having luck with?
And, I saw some stuff on line where guys were using homemade bait tubes to hold shrimp and minnows instead of a normal little bait bucket. Any advantage to using with the bait tube with a kayak?
My favorite soft plastics are Z Man Ultrashrimp, Rain Minnowz, and Crabz. I fish a lot of Streakz but catch more fish on the first two than anything else. Natural shrimp on a 3/0 trigger hook with a dab of Pro Cure will catch about anything that swims.
