What I'm Doing Right Now

Im not a bourbon/ liquor drinker, but a friend just got me this. I had a sip and I would enjoy a glass of this around the fire.

I still owe EF1 a 1/5th of Knob Creek, from a wager a few years back.

If you’re in to “sipping whiskey” you might give this one a try……

Yeah, for sure. 80 yesterday, 48 today. Lows in the upper 20’s.

I went from t-shirt and shorts, to f-this, in less than 12 hours. Can we get a heads up, next time, please?

That’s a cool pup!

I found some 60’s vintage Dexter’s at a yard sale last weekend. Good ole American craftsmanship. They pair well with my newer Dexter’s.

Trying out my early Christmas present. Audience seems to approve.

Gibson?

She’s a beat

At what age did you learn to play big t?
I tried guitar late in life but failed
My mother, god rest her soul would have payed any amount of money for lessons to learn us boys how to play an instrument.

Through my Hot Rod Deluxe, this guitar is amazing. I’m definitely not worthy.

I wish. I’m certainly not worthy of a $3500 Gibson 335, although I did jam with Shrimp City Slim, Blue Jack, and Juke Joint Johnny at Cumberlands, back in the day.

It’s a $189 Grote from Amazon.

I started late, as well. It’s never too late.

Gary(Erwin, aka Shrimp City Slim) encouraged me to get on stage, with him, Jack and Johnny. I was scared to death! But, they helped me and encouraged me. To me, it was like being up there with Clapton or Hendrix. I didn’t know if I was going to strum, or ■■■■ myself.

Anyway, it all worked out and we laugh about it now. I’ll say that musicians are like the fishing community. We all started somewhere, and we’re here to help and encourage each other.

Ol Slim is playing in Ravenel this weekend

The old Strat and Hot Rod Deluxe.

Is this there migration? Used to see them by the thousands around this time of year.

Just pulled this democrat off of my dog.
