what is best to chum sharks with in folly river

had menhaden oil and cut up menhaden for chum what is best for chumming up sharks in folly river any other oils or any thing

Barracuda or Bonita carcasses filleted up and hung over the side will work well. Use the fillets as bait.

You could go catch a big mess of menhaden and trash fish, grind them up, line a bucket with a mesh bag, dump the fish slop in and freeze it to create your own chum block. Put the frozen bag in the water and as it thaws out, you’ll create a righteous chum slick.

where can i get the bonita and barracuda frm

cant cach em at work

If you can’t get menhaden or other fish to grind, we have added to our slick when fishing for kings with laying pellets soaked with menhaden oil,do not use anything that floats or the birds will ruin your day.

You can’t catch fish on a dry line

Woodfloats?

Try stingray blood, cut wings off & they bleed pretty good & can use wing for bait.

Frozen chum and disposable chum bags aren’t that expensive and are super easy.

It also frees up time for more fishing and/or beer drinking.

Specifically, those from New Jersey, New York, and Ohio. They can frequently be found sitting through green lights on Folly Road, or complaining about the service at Lost Dog Caf?!

There is no bag limit, so please treat them like lionfish, whenever possible.

(just kidding, of course… kinda).

PS: If a fly lost it’s wings, would it be called a walk?

saw some guy on TV cut up a bonita & stuff the chunks in panty hose, then proceed to put that bait ball on a hook & reel in a huge shark

Pretty much any politician in Washington DC.

I’ve always used a chum pot on with whatever left over guts and carcasses I have. It always seems to attract bluefish, whiting, stingray, etc…you can set up a drop rig and bottom fish for whiting if you like to eat them or use them as live bait or fresh cut bait.
