Caught in freshwater drain pond. Green in color, with a red-ish jaw. Approx size is about 6 inches in length. I thought it was a crappie at first. I’m not big on freshwater species… is it a bream of some sort?
Thats a size 12 mens tennis shoe

No offense meant, but a stumpknocker, or spotted sunfish, is a different fish.

No offense taken, we still call em stumpknockers. Probabley just because the name sounds cool. It’s all good! They are like a crazy cross between a bream and bass.
