Last dive I made I saw more black sea bass than I have EVER seen before.
So are black sea bass out numbering all other fish 50 to 1 or are lion fish that represent a MUCH smaller portion of the population?
There are no BSB left. You must have had some N2O mixed in your gas and were hallucinating. The govt is NEVER wrong.

You must be mistaken the SAFMC has been doing research for a verrrry long time!
** Please note how the fish is smiling and no hook was used to make the count** - According to the data collected on this one picture - the fish was brought up after fishing for approx 3 minutes. Therefore with approx 2 mil registered boats in the Southeast that means we are harvesting 2 mil x 3min x # of anglers x 365 x hours fished !! Oh man shut it down now!! BSB are overfished!! Sorry I’m with MattR on this one! The data supports shutting down the fishery!!
