Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

4200-4400 gets me 28 to 30 if the livewell is not full with 4 people onboard. I may be slow but I will get there-----sometime!

Single f225 30 mph around 4000-4200 rpms loaded to fish round trip gets around 2.8-2.9 mpg

Depends on ocean conditions!! Usually I cruise @ 3800 (so I can afford the fuel bill)

26 Regulator/250’s

In those conditions, I run 4800RPM every time. 32-35mph depending on ice/fish/fuel load. 21 mako w/ yamaha Z200. To save gas I trim the motor way up and put down just a little tab. You’d be surprised how much less fuel you burn if you get your prop higher in the water on non rough days. You just have to use enough tab to not have your bow bouncing and digging around or be able to run fast enough to stay on top and leveled between crests. In a catamaran, just trim the motors up until just before losing their bite, and you will save tons of fuel.

Nah, WOT in 1’ is about 5300 to 5600 depending on load, that was for 1’ seas. Hell, sometimes you just gotta burn some gas and have fun. Boat runs best at at least 4500.
