me and my roommate have been fishing this drop for the past couple weeks and have been picking up some nice flounder and real big whiting. obviously i am not questioning about those species. i caught this tiny guy that was all of 4 inches, and have never seen one caught of bigger size, or ever in cast not or aquarium. it had some gnarly teeth on it, and is just over all a weird fish. maybe some body on here knows what it is.
Hard to tell from the not so in focus on the fish pic. But might be some juvenile of something?.
But otherwise I’d call it bait!

never would have guessed but according to that article they can produce electricity as a defense mechanism…didnt get zapped did ya?
Pet him between the eyes.
stand in the water and rub his head.
Pretty cool.
Any man that doesn’t know how to catch a fish, shouldn’t disgrace a fish, by catching it.
yeah I caught a stargazer last year out on Sullivans Island, ate a mudminnow
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

He must Increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30
I’ve caught them on soft plastics before and not just live bait. We would catch one every couple of years while growing up flounder fishing in Virginia.
put one down in the wet sand and watch how fast it will bury it self
