i have always been partial to the barlow knot. that is the one that is tied so tight and so many times that it takes a barlow knife to undo it. LOL
I like Top2Bottom’s Boline comment. I find myself using this not all over my boat, not for fishing but for various other things. Once you learn this not, it’s easy to do, 1 handed, or with 2 hands. It’s a super strong not, and can be taken apart after heavy usage with some ease. I would have to thank those that taught me this knot many years ago…
