what public dumps will take old boat hulls?

just curious what public dumps in charleston will take old boat hulls?

I’m going to be cutting them up with a chainsaw into pieces that will fit into the bed of the truck before hauling them off.

and no, none of them have titles and they are absolutely trashed/rotted.

I’d burn em but I doubt they’d actually burn what with how soggy they are lol.

the boats are located in summerville but I dont mind traveling a little to get them tossed out.

also, what are the guidelines the dumps usually require? like any size restrictions to the pieces, etc?

almost positive charleston and berkley county will take them, you just have to pay

The one on Beesferry Rd will take them whole.

The landfill on Hwy 302 (Edmund Hwy.)south of Columbia will also take them whole. Just make sure all metal is removed. I think it cost me seven bucks for the 16’ bowrider I dumped…

that would be awesome. I’ll just have to see if my dad’s full size trailer still works as half these boats dont have trailers or the trailers are rotted into the ground…

you dont happen to know the name of this dump, if they charge, or have an address do you?

Now I know why I see so many dumped in the woods

I saw one yesterday dumped off of I26 east on little the side road leading to the new development off the highway.

there’s also one dumped down the road from me on riverland that someone just dumped in a dude’s yard and the guy has a sign on it “please take your POS boat off my property a-hole”

lol
