Just wanted to know some of the basics to bring for the 4th of March meet and fish (e.g. clothing, kinds of baits- artificials, live/dead). I am really excited about getting into yak-fishing need a place to destress. I will fish both fresh and salt. Looking forward to meeting some of you from the forum.
Fishing - keep it simple 1 or 2 rods. Not sure if you like arties or bait. If you’re fishing bait just bring a baggie w/ extra hooks and weights in case you get broken off. Clothing. My rule is rig to flip, dress to swim.
Here are a couple of blog posts I wrote on gearing up.
