Does anyone know anyone that would purchase the hide if we get one? We killed one a few years ago and I tried to “tan” the hide, but that really didn’t work out well at all. Just don’t want it to go to waste.
look on dnr’s website. there are tannerys on the list that will buy. you will have to get a cites tag and ship. you may get 150$ or so. you have to salt, prep and scrape though.
They’ll buy hides if it’s prepared right. I send my hides there to get tanned. They’ve offered to buy but I never even asked the price since I wasn’t interested.
