What type of braid line would you use on a medium size spinner for jigging in water from 65 to 130 feet. I was thinking 50 to 65 pound test. The reel will hold 250 yards of 15 mono. If figure that would be about the same as the 12 to 15 pound mono.
I’ve got one of those reels spooled with 50 lb Diamond Braid and it works pretty well for whatever I need it for. I can use it for light jigging, reef fishing, live and pitchbaiting for dolphin and tuna. The 50 lb is plenty strong for all that I do with them but I don’t think 65 would hurt!

Depends on the reel’s drag power and rod’s strength.
Vertical jigging around here in the depths you stated means line capacity will not be an issue for you if 250yds of 15lb mono will go on your reel.
65lb is what I’d want personally… 80lb if your equipment can fish it- otherwise the extra $$ for 80lb is a waste.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
