From totally taking our fishing from us…? I go over to Pensacolafishing.com and I get sick. They are pitting rec vs. commercial vs. headboat in that part of the gulf. I guess all of our head boats here are about gone. What drastic measure would anyone here recommend to stop this…?
Once it starts, it’s hard to stop. Thankfully we seem to be a little better disciplined in this area as far as fishing goes. Some other things are not so much so. Still hunting vs. dog driver, crossbow vs compound vs traditional. Yamaha vs Mercury.
Part of the tactic from “up the chain” is to get the masses to argue against each other and then throw in the bone. Appears it’s working in some areas.
I do wonder why commercial size limits are lower on some species than on Rec size limits, but I don’t blame the Commercial guys, It’s the ones who are setting the rules that are to blame. I think that is intentionally done to try to start that divisive wedge.
