I grew up in the West Ashley area back in the 60’s when conduct like this was not tolerated. When I was 16 my father found a 1/2 pint of liquor I had hidden for a friend. When I wouldn’t tell my Dad where I got the booze he took me downtown to the police dept. and turned me in. My father was a recruiter for the USAF. He knew the policeman from checking on possible recruits for the USAF and had contacted the officer before taking me in. One day in the old jail that was under the old Cooper River Bridge taught me a lesson. What he did wouldn’t be allowed today, it wouldn’t be socially correct. We need more old fashioned parenting today or this country is going to H*ll in a handbasket.

I would have called some of my neighbors or friends who were close by to close in on the hoodlams…(2)…laid on the horn…(3) .videoed or taken pics of them…go to nearest school and see if they now them and will contact parents with your number…(4) roll down your window and turn up some country or oldies music reallll loud…(5) or crack it and say…“y’all here for the prayer meeting?” Lol… Just kidding on the last two
