So, you enter into a competition but dont try to win it. Can anyone understand this logic? Seriously, I cant understand it. The very nature of a contest is to win and be better that the other competitors.
Does anyone at that school know the meaning of the word, Competitive! Maybe next, they will be issuing grades like that. Hell, would have helped me in my scholastic endeavors:face_with_head_bandage:
Does that mean that I can get a position with a company, making six figures a year without competing for it, without excelling in that field? I’m ready, who’s hiring?

They do, already.
Ask any public school teacher to what lengths they must go to keep a student from receiving a failing grade. If they tell the truth, your head will explode.
Maybe I read the article wrong but I believe the Field Day is just for fun. This is not a competition. No where in the ad did it say field day competition so I’m not sure what the OP was talking about.
I do know that sometimes people get a little carried away. This is a field day for the kids, not NFL football try-outs. If you need competition join a sport and keep it on the field.
The rest of the banter on here I pretty much agree with but dont think it has anything to do with this article or a field day.
