Hey Guys
Any suggestions for a small but functional kayak landing net? I’m looking for a short handled narrow width but long net.
DD, does your store carry any???
Thanks

We don’t, but Barton and Burwell and other tackle shops should.

Maybe I should have surfed the Internet a little first… a “Big Duh” for me
Take a look at this site/net http://www.mengo-ind.com/DisplayDetail.aspx?which=156.

Target sells a nice collapsing net similar to the one listed in SF’s post. I use it and it works very will. I think I paid about $15 for it.
SF,
As soon as I get an account for posting pics online, I’ll show you what I carry. I works for the Redfishville Monsters. Which NikonJedi will be posting soon? Maybe:wink:

Jimmy Buffet can have Margaritaville, I’m going to Redfishville!
Thanks Guys
I’m planning on adding two more rod holders to my yak so I can pack 5 rods, so I’m looking for a rather small but functional net (i.e. for those pesky BIG Reds ).

Have yopu thought about a fly fishing landing net? Mine is short hand;ed, oval about 8 wide by 17 long with a deep basket. I’ve had a 5 pound rainbow in it before, but don’t know if a big red would fit.
So much water, So little time
Too busy I thought the same thing but there is no way your getting a big red into those nets Yesterdays encounter with some Redfishville reds put that thought right out of my head
I think this ones head was 8" wide
