Matt, try the new Savage Shrimp or Vudu Shrimp rigged under a popping cork. Also a ZMan Houdini Shrimp rigged on a 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook has been producing fish also

experience noun \ik-#712;spir–#601;n(t)s

  1. the fact or state of having been affected by or gained knowledge through direct observation or participation

  2. that thing you get just moments after you needed it.

If you can see the fish maybe lose the popping cork. Throw a gulp, a Zman, or even better a shrimp or cut mullet in front of them. Do not spook them is the key.

White gulp

thanks for the help will try. and will post reports

cant cach em at work

Gulp, or shrimp…I have had no luck with anything D.O.A so I abashed all of those baits

I’ve done very well with the vudu sans the popping cork. If you order them directly from Egret baits they send you some extras.

I have been fishing the DOA Chart/Silver glitter curl tail with 1/4 night glow jig head. Grub provides great action and the jig head keeps the grub in place. I have also been experimenting with the 2" DOA shrimp on light line. My go to bait is a ML TT808. Trout slam this bait.

DOA’s work best for me in the cold months, but even when i’ve tried them unsuccessfully i’ve never felt embarrassed…
