crappie have been in 5-6 ft of water. full of eggs. should be close to the bank. lm bass have been biting good. stripers have been in the back of the creeks.
Stripers were slow this Friday night, but I took a guy fishing for his first trip in 20 years and be boated two short stripers and one 3+ foot gar. I picked up one 11 lbs cat and another 3+foot gar. These all came in one spot anchored in 5-15 foot of water between 7:45pm-8:05pm using cut bait from Lake World. Richard picked the area and mikey picked the spot… the guys at Lake World put me on’em all I had to do was sit back and enjoy. God Bless, Brian

Any recent catches on Lake Murray? What are the best techniques during this time of year? Thanks
From Friday morning to Sunday Night my friends and I caught around 150 lbs of Large Mouth/Striper/Catfish. We used free lines to get the Black Bass rangeing from 3-7 lbs, 30 feet down to get the Striper ranging from 18-24 inchs, and cut bait on points in 5-30 feet deep water for some Stripers ranging from 14-20 inchs and all the Catfish ranging from 2-20 lbs… 3 of the cats combined for about 50+lbs. Awesome weekend… hope the rest of you have as much fun. God Bless, CoachB
