If you had to pick only three skirt colors to troll with for kings what color would they be? Any preference as far as brands and or makers of the skirts? I like pink/blue, solid white, and blue/white Silaflash by Z-Man.

pink and white for snakes. chartreuse 20 feet down for the big boys. seems like cobia like the chartreuse in the prop wash. painted one blade of each of my prop’s pink and one chartreuse you would not believe how many cobia i;ve caught over the years behind the chartreuse prop. its like they get hypmotized.

tideline two that paint on the prop sounds killer heard of the squid on the hull. The paint on the prop is a new one. what paint do you use on the prop a hull paint? Interesting minds want to know.
Not exactly sure what color chartreuse is, but I ain’t going anywhere with a prop that is any color other than white, SS or black.
A lot of guys have painted props flourescent orange with the engine block paint that is tough, and durable. Chartreuse is yellow, and I believe yellow works better for me at least. Many reports ahve been filed in favor of painted props, same as rock music working in blue water.

two weeks ago pink/white on the downrigger at 40 feet went off 10-1 against all other colors. Then again, last week it was blue and white on top. WHO KNOWS? every day is different, but I don’t even leave the dock without chartreuse on board, and it always catches fish. It may not always be number 1 (altought it often is) but it has never been a dud!
