I just got a new to me boat and trying to find out what size wheel bearings it uses on the trailer. I know I can take the hub of and measure for sure but was wondering if someone might know what size bearings it has. It is a tortion triaxle with 16inch rims, 6 lugs.
I don’t know any other way other than looking at the bearing # or measuring the spindle. Maybe someone will enlighten us. If you don’t have one, you may want to consider investing in a spare hub with a new set of bearings pre-lubed and ready to go. Small outlay of cash for the security it provides. Had a seal go out last year coming back from FL and was able to change out a hub and get back on the road in about 20 minutes.
pull the hub off, if the spindle is tapered it’s a 1 3/8 & 1 1/16 hub.

A spoiled rotten BOYKIN SPANIEL lives with me
with a 16 wheel and 6 lug rim i would lean more toward a larger hub than that
