Wahoo are on the ledge all year long. Its better during the full moon, the bite that is. Just zig zag over the ledge until you find them…theres also different techniques you can use, plugs, other artificials, search high speed trolling. If you know what you’re doing, it can be very productive.
OH, that’s my misunderstanding. I thought the big ones were in close this time a year for breading, but you could still catch smaller ones throughout the whole year. I had no idea they hung around all year. This is why I love asking questions on this forum. Thanks guys!!
Look at the photos in the bottom of this thread with Paul holding the big hoo. That fish was caught late April at the ledge. We also caught a 50lber that day too (which seemed like a peanut compared to the fish Paul is holding).
