When It Rains It Pours....Need Trailer Tires

The Maxxis is the only one I find more good reviews than bad. Unfortunately, I can’t find anyone in Columbia that sells them. Once you order them, pay shipping and pay another installer to M&B, the price is pretty high. Going to check a couple other places tomorrow.

I never realized that the state of trailer tires was so bad.

Maxxis is an awesome trailer tire. Put two maxxis and two hi-runs on my trailer this year and have put 2500+ miles on them. The Maxxis are in noticeably better condition right now. All are load range E’s running at low pressure since I don’t have a motor or fuel in the rig yet.

Have owned all the brands mentioned above. Had Goodyear marathons blow out. Carlisles are a joke. Decided to try “cheap” Hi-Run as well as Maxxis. Already see a difference…

Contact Blocker Boys Customs in Walterboro. Got mine there.

These are power kings. I’ve got them on a triple axle under my Renegade and on a single axle under my Maycraft and have had no troubles, whoops, shouldn’t have said that. I pull the Maycraft to Marathon Fla. annually. It is a lite boat but we load the boat with you name it. The Renagade is heavy but I only haul it from Batesburg to Charleston. Anyway, no complaints.

Hey Mattc14, if you tried to email me, I never got anything. Of your 6 posts, below is what I see when I see your posts. I appreciate it if you were trying to help me out. I certainly would have been interested had they been the size I needed. I wondered why 2 of your posts were blank except for what kind of boats you have. Anyway, I bought 2 today from a dealer in Columbia I have dealt with for a few years. They have always treated me well and spoke well about the tires and claims they have had almost no problems with them. I did learn that trailer tires need to be rolled and sitting for long periods of time is bad for them. Anyway thanks. Hopefully these will last me a while and at the very least get me to and from the Keys.

What size tire? Don't use regular car tires. Learned that the hard way.

I had two new radial tires free and free delivery but I couldn't get his attention. Even tried emailing. Had bought them in febuary for my sons camper but he sold it before I could get them on .Oh well, might not be the rite size anyway.

10-4. I know we want to save our money till we get to fla. With a post like When it rains it pours, I was anxious to help. Driving through Columbia daily I was even ready to deliver. Sure I didn’t have the right size but thought it would be worth a try. Catch um up in the keys and pick us out a new boat in Plantation Key. I drool riding through there.
