Folks have been doing well on the stripers way up lake in the big and little Saluda rivers. Striper fishermen on here post in the Stiper Fishing and/or Midlands Striper Club forums on this site so you might want to follow those threads.

The above post is pretty accurate. I’ll just add that we’ve been catching some decent keeper stripers, 21" to 24" not monsters, mixed with the white perch in the elbow area on occassion. Most of these are 25’ or deeper and they are hitting the white/silver Berry spoons. I did lose one monster last Saturday that took about 80 yards of my line and my spoon too! The trolling motor wouldn’t keep up with the fish and the line finally snapped.
