AS a novice fisherman I caught a few Maui-Maui near the ledge , but lately not so good. I went out last week to 300’ along with some other boats out their and trolled back to commanche, nada.

Or maybe it is tme to switch to bottom fishing ?

Any assistance would be apperciated :dizzy_face:

They are everywhere. That is the problem spread VERY thin. BW2150 is dead on. Dog days of summer. No defined edges, few weedlines, dolphin can and are anywhere from 60 to 6000 feet. Very difficult this time of year

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

or get the circle hooks out and go for the sails if you enjoy the bills. hit the bottom on the way back. :wink:
