We are going to try and come down this Saturday, Son just lost his job and needs a little cheer. He does not love anything more than fishing for redfish. I have never fished this time of year for Redfish. What areas should I target? are they up the river, in the bay. someone help me cheer up my son. many thanks for any help.

Mud minnows always work. Put a shrimp on one also to let the scent bring them in. Of course you can use your trolling motor to move along the bank throwing artificials towards the grass.
how about live bait, like caught pinfish or something?
