My son shot this buck Saturday where do you get it officially measured ? Buck was chasing a doe the rut is on, this was shot locally.

You can get a rough idea of the score, by scoring it yourself.

Good mass…nice 3’s…weak 2’s…16"-17" inside…I’d guess upper 130’s to low 140’s.

Very nice buck. Congratulations to you and your son!! Time to make room on the wall!

He would look even bigger if it didn’t have to compete with your son’s smile! Lol!!

Earn it everyday

If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.

Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet.

That’s a great looking buck; I’d sure be proud of that!

115, before deductions.

Don’t know about scoring, but wanted to say Great deer! Did he put him in a sleeper hold? (Where was the shot?)

Yep, great deer! Did he hit him a little far back?

The DNR scores them every March for free. You have to have a drying period before they can be official. But you are going to come up short. My guess is 110-115.

My guess is 110-120 still big for a sc deer

Pioneer 197sf

that’s the deer of a lifetime for “most” SC deer hunters- be proud, get a great mount and remember that only 1% of all deer hunters ever kill a 10 point. congrats.

Does it really matter? Nice dear for a young man. Hope he realizes that may be the biggest he ever gets hunting in SC! Just from the photo, I would agree with the 110-115.

Olde Man Charters

I would also guess about 120, but it’s a really nice deer for the young man.
