First, get your mind out of the gutter, that is gross.
Second, I tried to search but I constantly get ODBC database connection errors.
OK, the real question. Where you you guys wax your boat? I ask because I believe you are not supposed to wax in the sunlight. Plus, orbital polishers are very load and not neighbor friendly. So, is there a good place, that has electric for the DA, to spend some time waxing a boat. My garage is 2 car, but it has 2 separate single doors so I canât maneuver enough to comfortably do it in there.
The boat is a Robalo R180 so it is pretty chunky and in there pretty tight. I actually have a winch pull it in because it is so tight. Literally, there is less than 3/4 inch clearance on either side of the fenders.
Anyway, in these subdivisions that have houses so close, people get upset with noisy neighbors. it just is what it is. Unfortunately, a move would probably equal a divorce and a move, just for me I was hoping someone knew a nice park that had a big pavilion with power that I could pull the boat under or something like that.
send the neighbors to their safe room, like they have in college now. In school I was offended many times-- by the coach and the chem professors mostly. Their attitude was grow some! The only safe room served PBR.
I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF NOT BEING ABLE TO WAX YOUR CAR OR BOAT IN YOUR OWN DRIVEWAY, IN ANY NEIGHBORHOOD. CANT LEAVE BOATS IN DRIVEWAY OVERNIGHT, CANT LEAVE GARAGE DOORS OPEN, MUST MOW TWICE A WEEK, NO BALD SPOTS IN THE YARD, AND EVEN HAVING TO KEEP WEEDS OUT OF FLOWER BEDS, BUT NEVER NO WAXING???
OH WELL!!!
THAT IS PRECISELY WHY WE HAVE 20 ACRES OF TREES AROUND US

Thatâs why we have 80 of ours, and few thousand more of others surrounding us. I ainât living with those rules. I donât wax boats or trucks either. Heck with that.
I wouldnât think to ask but youâd know the situation better than anyoneâŚhave you asked the neighbor(s) if theyâd mind one day of you running the polisher to wax the boat? Iâd assume youâre only doing it once per year so shouldnât be that big of a nuisance. On second thought, ask them to help you do it by hand first, then maybe they wonât mind the noise! If you can do it at your house, buy a pop-up canopy at Dickâs or Walmart when they go sale to shade the area youâre working on. Beyond that, Iâm at a loss on âwhereâ, maybe some business would consider letting you do it on the side of their property for a small fee/contribution.
Bring it to us. We will take care of it for you. We can have you in and out in a few days. By the time you buy everything you need the cost will not be much more then buying all the equipment and materials.
