where others fear to tread...

Dropped the kayak in behind Sullivans Island at low tide to fish the rising. Paddled to a flat I thought might hold some Reds but no takers so I paddled into a small creek at the back of the flat to do some exploring. As the creek got smaller I started blowing out Big Reds. The creek was so small I couldn’t turn around in most places and was too narrow to get a bait in the water. Fish were bumping the bottom of my kayak! Finally got to a wider area and was able to get a shrimp out under a cajun thunder…it was on then! Got one hell of a ride up the creek thanks to a 33" red. Note: they have no problem pulling a 13’ kayak around. After catching 6 more from 20" - 33" (all released) I decided I had experienced all the fun I needed for one day and I had a long paddle back against the wind. The best part was knowing I could not have found these fish without my kayak and nobody else can get to them without one. This is cool!

So nice, thanks for the report!
